BioPhenolics Selected for GSAP Deep Tech Program 2025

BioPhenolics Inc., headquartered in Tsukuba, Ibaraki (CEO: Noriyuki Nukui), has been selected to participate in the Deep Tech track of JETRO’s Global Startup Acceleration Program (GSAP) 2025. As part of GSAP 2025, this program aims to support Japanese startups in life sciences, big data, chip/semiconductor, and FinTech – especially those aiming for international expansion.

The Deep Tech cohort is run in collaboration with Berkeley SkyDeck—an accelerator born at University of California, Berkeley—and spans approximately 20 weeks of English-language workshops and mentoring. It targets early-stage to Series A startups in deep technology sectors, with around 20 companies selected to participate.

As a GSAP Deep Tech participant, BioPhenolics will benefit from:

• Developing strategy tailored for U.S. and global markets

• Investor introductions and global networking opportunities

• 1-on-1 mentorship and advanced pitch coaching in English

• Delivery of demos at Demo Day to pursue funding and partnerships
